Sybil Ludington
Discovering the Life of a Revolutionary War Teen Hero
Sybil Ludington's story
is finally part of the New York State social studies curriculum, but teachers have been without a classroom-friendly biography of Sybil that addresses the New York State Standards in English and social studies until now. This book presents an interdisciplinary teaching unit with built-in reading and writing assignments for students in grades 4 through 8. The focus is on the importance of women and children in history, the Revolutionary War in America, and document-based research."

And I hope that you’re at peace with your father and mother.”
